Schadler and McHugh Review

You should definitely check out this blog. These two guys review theatrical shows they have seen.

Schadler and McHugh Review

A Review they did for “The Producers”….

“This past christmas, I had the pleasure of seeing my all time favorite musical on broadway, The Producers with Tony Danza as Max and Roger Bart as Leo. The show was nothing but fantastic and musical numbers were melancholic and hilarious. The only weakness that this show displayed was on Danza’s part. Being a T.V. junkie for the larger chunk of his life might have something to do with his lack of vocal talent. Also, his acting wasn’t up to par and certainly not what it used to be. Other than that, a definite must-see!”

(Disclaimer: They are friends of mine.)

Sweet Talk NYC

Yesterday, I headed down to New York City for Candy’s Sweet Talk 20. My dad and I went down early in the morning and checked out MOMA and School of Visual Arts. Then we went to the Center for Architecture.

There was a good crowd of about 100 people and an awesome line up of speakers.

BrenB / Michael Gillette / Timothy Saccenti / Elisabeth Arkiphoff / MIchael C. Place of Build / Dalek / Glenn E. Friedman

They were all great and Veer recorded video of them all. Perhaps they will put it online. Candy is sending us pictures of the event in a couple weeks and I will share those with you.

Grab Bag. A Collaborative Visual Book.

Grab Bag

I would like to invite you to take part in a new collaborative visual book called Grab Bag.

It is a book about trying something new. It is about exploring your creativity and learning to do new things. It is about opening up to a new idea and gaining respect for it. It’s a book of visual creations by people from around the world that have come together through the exploration of new things to create something beautiful.

This is how it works…

Each participating artist will have a “creative task” from the Grab Bag chosen at random for them. The result of the creative task will be published in the book. The only rule is that your creative task can’t be from your field of work or your area of expertise because the book is about learning to do new things with your creativity and exploring new ways of expressing yourself. Furthermore, each artist will have the option to also contribute a piece of their work that comes from the area of expertise. It could be something already created or something made specifically for the book. You can see the full list on the website.
